A typical man selected for the program will be between 28 and 42 years old, married, and will have already demonstrated leadership ability in his occupation and his church. He will be a believer in, and a follower of, Jesus Christ, and will have a strong desire to make his life meaningful in the building of God’s kingdom. He must be willing to commit to attend 4 weekend seminars and 14 evening meetings over a two year period. Candidates of all races and denominations will be actively recruited. In order to allow for active discussion and close fellowship, the number of participants will be limited to approximately 28.
Cost
Each participant will be asked to personally pay $1,600 which includes room and all meals for the four weekend seminars, dinner at each evening meeting, books, course materials, speaker and administrative expenses. Payment may be made in four installments of $400 each, payable one month before each weekend retreat.
Note that the total cost per couple of the the two-year program is approximately $4,800. In many cases, the participant’s employer, church or family will want to pay all or part of the remaining $3,200 expense. Other donors will be needed to fund the rest of the expenses. All donations are tax deductible. The $1,600 tuition payment is not tax-deductible.
How To Apply
The application period for the Class of 2012 has begun. Application and reference forms are available for download below. The steps for applying are as follows:
1) Attend one of the introductory sessions on Tuesday, April 13th or Wednesday, April 21st at 7pm at Westminster Presbyterian Church.
We strongly encourage interested couples (both husband and wife) to attend one of these sessions. While attendance is not mandatory, it is our experience that these sessions are important to an understanding and requirements of the CLF program. The couples who have benefited most from the CLF experience are often those who both fully understood the purpose and logistics of the program, especially as to the importance of attendance at all events.
2) Download the application form and reference form(s) below. References are needed from a Supervisor/Co-worker, a Peer, and your Pastor. The reference form is provided in two formats: one for those who want to enter the information in Microsoft Word, and one that can be printed out for those who want to enter handwritten information. Please email or send this form to each of your references, and they will submit the form directly to us.
4) Have each of your three references submit their referral forms directly to us, either by using the Reference Upload page, by email to Bill@Fidelityprop.com, or by US Mail (address is on the form).
